The 2010 Wayne State Wednesday Farmers Market is on!

Every Wednesday, from June 9 to October 27, from 11 AM to 4 PM, at 5201 Cass Ave., in front of Prentis Hall and across from the Detroit Public Library.

The market features fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs; cider and fresh-cut flowers; honey; baked goods and desserts and hot prepared foods.

Free 15 minute parking available on Cass Ave, in front of the market--please spread the word to your friends and relatives to come by and get a taste of the market!

The farmers market accepts cash, Bridge Card, WSU One Card, and Michigan's Project Fresh and Senior Project Fresh Coupons.

This year, we're also hoping to double Bridge Card benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or food stamps) at the market!  What a deal!!
