This seminar will provide an overview of the consent options investigators and their staff have when performing human subjects research. Topics will include written consent, parental consent, assent, information sheets, oral consent and waiver of consent. In addition, the seminar will cover expectations for the informed consent process as outlined by Wayne State University policy.
