The "Spring Check-Up" 5k is the most important fundraiser for the Robert R. Frank Student-Run Free Clinic and also serves to raise awareness of the uninsured population of metro Detroit. The 5k is on a flat, fast course on Belle Isle with great views of the Detroit River and Canadian coast, as well as beautiful historic landmarks on the island. The race will be professionally timed, with a water station available at the 1.5 mile mark and donated food and beverages available for post-race socializing. There will also be a short awards ceremony at the conclusion with medals awarded to top finishers and a raffle for gifts & prizes.
