WOMEN IN GENOCIDE:  A Comparative Assesment

What distinct experiences have women faced in modern genocides?  What actions can be taken to prevent further atrocities against women?

Three speakers will discuss the plight of women in different genocides in the twentieth century:

Helen Sinnreich, Youngstown STate University -Holocaust

Henry Theriault, Worcester State University - Armenian Genocide

Wenona Rymond-Richmond, University of Massachusetts - Darfur
