We know that the financial aid process can be confusing.  That's why Wayne State's Office of Student Financial Aid offers three parent information sessions to help:

Thursday, April 19th:   6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday, April 28th:  10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Thursday, May 3rd:  6:00 pm – 8:00 pm 

All sessions take place at the at the WSU Welcome Center Auditorium, located at 42 West Warren.

Financial aid officers will present information about the following hot topics:

  • Different types of available aid
  • The verification review process known as ‘verification’ and how this affects financial aid awards
  • How to use financial aid funding to purchase books, supplies or a computer
  • What to do if your income as a parent has drastically changed since 2011 or you have other special circumstances
  • Payment Options

Please reserve your seat online.

Parking is available in Parking Structure 6 (located behind the Welcome Center).  For free parking, tell the attendant you are there for the financial aid parent information session.
