The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Wayne State University is holding a Public Viewing Event for the last transit of Venus of our lifetime.
When: Tuesday, June 5th
Time: 6:00-9:00PM
Where: Roof top Observatory* on the Physics Research Building
Cost: No Charge
THIS EVENT WILL ALSO INCLUDE: Direct and indirect viewing of the transit of Venus through roof top telescopes (weather providing) and through a projected NASA feed in Room 245; Phantastic Physics demos including the Fire Tornado in Room 245; planetarium shows held at 6:45 and 7:45PM in the WSU Planetarium, Room 0209, Old Main Building, 4841 Cass Avenue (a short walk from the Physics Research Building), including as part of each planetarium show, a Transit of Venus video.
