This session will focus on the additional requirements that must be met when US veterans are recruited and enrolled in human research studies. Information about the policies and procedures of the John D. Dingell VAMC will be shared and a discussion of how these must be met before a protocol that requires recruitment of veterans is submitted to the WSU IRB. Appendix J will be reviewed during the training.
