New Student Convocation is the official welcoming event from university administration, faculty and staff for new students and their families as they begin their academic careers at Wayne State.
The ceremony which will be held on the Max J. Pincus Court in front of the McGregor Conference Center on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
The FestiFall picnic will begin immediately following the ceremony on the Gullen Mall/Fountain Court area. Following FestiFall students will have an opportunity to meet the dean of his/her college/school. Various learning communities will also be hosting kick-off activities. Complete information will be provided in the New Student Convocation program book.
