This is the second year that the Wayne State University Student Veterans Organization is sponsoring an orientation specifically for it growing population of veteran or veteran-like scholars.
This year’s New Student Veteran Orientation is scheduled for 30 Aug 2012 from 0830 - 1200 at Bernath Auditorium for all incoming freshman and Transfer veterans, dependents and/or any recipients of Veterans Educational Benefits. This orientation provides an opportunity to meet key Wayne State University staff members that will be assisting you during your college experience as part of the University's on-going commitment in providing the comprehensive support you will need to be successful. We look forward to meeting each of you and welcoming you to our community of veteran scholars.
Itinerary:
8:30 - 9:15 Registration/Breakfast (University Advising Center, Suite 1600 UGL)
9:15 – 11:00 Presenters (Bernath Auditorium, 1st floor UGL)
11:00 – 1230 Brief Tour and Lunch at the Student Veterans Resource Center
