The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History’s
Elaine L. Jacob Gallery is pleased to present
New Faculty Exhibition
This group exhibition represents the breadth and scope of contemporary art and design practice at WSU. It specifically highlights art faculty who have joined the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History within the past five years. The opening reception is on Friday, November 9, 5-8PM.
Works by the following faculty members are featured in this exhibition: Danielle Aubert, Derek Coté, Lauren Kalman, Daniel McCafferty, Alice Smith, Millee Tibbs, Eric Troffkin and Margi Weir.
A second reception that includes the Winter Art Market (WAM) as part of Midtown Detroit's Noel Night will be held on Saturday, December 1, 5-9PM. The annual WAM brings together the talents of WSU art students, alumni and community organizations. Offerings range from one of a kind art objects to limited production design goods. Come join us in a festive environment for what will be sure to become a Noel Night favorite stop. For more information about the market, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
All events are free and open to the general public. The Art Department Gallery is located in the Art Building on the campus of Wayne State University, near the intersection of Cass Avenue and Kirby Street.
