The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art & Art History is pleased to announce the GRADUATING SENIORS EXHIBITION at the Art Department Gallery, November 8 through December 7, 2013.
This exhibition features works of art and design by students from the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History who anticipate graduation during the 2013-14 academic year. An opening reception will be held on Friday, November 8, 5-8PM. A closing reception will be held on Saturday, December 7, 5-10PM. The closing reception will coincide with this year’s Winter Art Market (WAM) as part of Noel Night in Midtown Detroit.
About WAM: WAM is a venue for WSU art students and alumni of the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History to connect with other area artists and showcase their original work. WAM will take place in front of the Art Department Gallery. The market will be a venue to sell both limited-edition items and one-of-a-kind objects.
All events are free and open to the general public. The Art Department Gallery is located in the Art Building on the campus of Wayne State University, near the intersection of Cass Avenue and Kirby Street.
