Join the Wayne State Insiders for a special opportunity on Wednesday, June 11, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to explore the interesting collections located in our very own libraries.

Dean of the WSU Library System Sandra Yee, Reuther archivist Louis Jones and the Special Collections Team will teach us about the world-class resources our library system offers. We’ll kick things off at the Kresge Auditorium then enjoy a guided tour of the acclaimed Walter P. Reuther Library. You’ll see everything from elephant relics and Florence Nightingale’s keepsakes to a lock of Abraham Lincoln’s hair when you explore Wayne State’s special collections at the Purdy/Kresge and David Adamany Undergraduate libraries.

The Wayne State Insiders includes alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty and staff who serve as informal ambassadors for Wayne State and our Midtown community. We welcome anyone excited about the positive impact of WSU and Detroit’s urban renewal. The more we learn, the more we can share and the greater our collective impact can be.
