Our backgrounds and experiences shape how we communicate, especially during moments of conflict. In this highly interactive workshop, participants will complete the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS), an 18-question, cross-culturally validated assessment that identifies individual approaches to communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. After completing the assessment, participants will engage in practical exercises designed to foster dialogue across different conflict styles and apply what they’ve learned. Please note that lunch will be provided and RSVPs are required.

This event is for Wayne State University faculty and staff. A separate event will be held for students.

This workshop is in partnership with Office of Inclusive Excellence and will be facilitated by Alex Boesch, PhD, Director of Educational and Strategic Initiatives.
