The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History’s Art Department Gallery is pleased to present
2011 WSU Faculty Exhibition
Faculty members who have studied a variety of disciplines throughout the nation come together in an exhibition that celebrates the full spectrum of areas in art and design. Their talents represent the mediums of painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, metals, fibers, digital, and photography, along with graphic, fashion, industrial and interior design.
The opening reception is on Friday, October 28 from 5-8PM. The closing reception is part of Noel Night and will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 5-9:30PM. The closing reception will include the Winter Art Market. The first annual market will bring together the talents of Wayne State Art students, alumni, and community organizations. Offerings will range from one of a kind art objects to limited production design goods. Come join us in a festive environment for what will be sure to become a Noel Night favorite stop. For more information about the market, please contact artstaff@wayne.edu.
All events are free and open to the general public. The Art Department Gallery is located in the Art Building on the campus of Wayne State University, near the intersection of Cass Avenue and Kirby Street.
