“New Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Skin Cancer”
Objectives:
1. New diagnostic tools in non-melanoma skin cancer with the emphasis on confocal microscopy real-imaging techniques – drawbacks and comparison to conventional accepted methods
2. New treatment modalities for NMSC in the current armentarium of therapies for skin cancer
3. Developing therapies for NMSC and update on most important molecular pathways in the development of non-melanoma skin cancer
Location: All lectures are held at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R, Detroit, MI
10 a.m. – Patient Presentations (Dermatology Clinic, red section, main floor)
10:30-11:30 a.m. – Lecture is held in the Auditorium, lower level (yellow elevators)
11:30-12 - Case management discussion
AUDIENCE: WSU physicians and faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and other practicing physicians in the area.
AAD CREDIT STATEMENT: The American Academy of Dermatology certified that this educational activity has been recognized for 2 hours of AAD Category I credit and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology’s Continuing Medical Education Award.
