The focus for this training will be on the various ways that the internet is and can be used in research. These include but are not limited to recruitment, consenting, data collection, and research intervention. The use of the internet is accompanied by additional issues and potential problems not found in research conducted outside of the web. Some of these include unique privacy and confidentiality concerns, participant selection and accessing appropriate sites for the study conduct.
