The LIS Program faculty, staff, student leaders, and administration are looking forward to getting to know new students. One of the activities provided for students is an orientation to the LIS Program and to Wayne State University. This orientation provides preliminary information to make students' first weeks run more smoothly and will help students with the skills, knowledge, and processes that will aid in their continuing success in the program.

The Fall 2008 on-campus New Student Orientation will be held Thursday, August 21 through August 22, 2008. New student orientation is mandatory.
