            <description>The Office of the Vice President for Research, the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Student Environmental Action League (SEAL), are pleased to sponsor &amp;quot;Assessing the Implications of Climate Change for Southeastern Michigan,&amp;quot; a one-day, free conference to be held in the Bernath Auditorium of the Adamany Undergraduate Library on October 21. Seven scientists and experts will address climate change as it affects southeastern Michigan&amp;#39;s ecosystems, agriculture, auto industry, and social issues through presentations, panel discussions and audience participation.&amp;nbsp; Registration is required.&amp;nbsp; The event is free and open to the public. </description>
