            <title>5th National Conference on Health Issues in the Arab American Community</title>

            <description>This Conference will serve to reaffirm our strong commitment to prevent diseases, reduce health disparities, and promote wellness in the community at large. This conference has been strategically designed to offer information about health issues in the Arab and Arab American community and is the only scientific forum of its kind. This immense and exciting program will include speakers from the local national and international arenas. Our partners in this highly academic and educational endeavor include the World Health Organization (WHO), Department of Health and Human Services at the local and national levels, Center for Disease Control (CDC), American Cancer Society, NAAMA, Komen Foundation, Kellogg Foundation, Henry Ford Health System and Oakwood Health System. The scientific program was coordinated with the Wayne Sate University School of Medicine. This Conference will allow you to interact with prominent local, national and international officials from health and academic institutions. The conference will be featuring speakers from the nation and the Arab world including Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, UAE, Tunis, Morocco, Algeria, and many more.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The Conference offers two concurrent Pre-Conference workshops on November 5, 2008 focusing on HIV/AIDS and Domestic Violence.
