The School of Library and Information Science's Annual Career Fair will be held on April 3, 2012 at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center on the campus of Wayne State University. This event has brought employers and potential employees together for nearly 20 years.
Tentative Schedule of Events
- 9:30-10:00 a.m. - Open Employer and Student Registration
- 10:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m.- Employer/Student Information Exchange
- 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.– Non-Traditional LIS Jobs Panel Discussion(Webcast through Wayne State Live)
- 1:00-2:30 p.m.- Library Journal Annual Placement & Salary Survey -- 2011 Results -- What You Need to Know -- conducted by SLIS Faculty Member and LJ Survey author, Stephanie Maatta Smith
- Boxed lunch provided for student and alumni attendees
