On behalf of Dr. Michael Klein of Children's Hospital of Michigan, Dr. Donald Weaver and Dr. Madhu Prasad of WSU's Department of Surgery, and Dr. Gregory Auner of WSU's Smart Sensors and Integrated Microsystems Program and Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, we are pleased to invite you to the iSURGITEC 2009 conference on October 28th - 30th. The conference will be located at both Wayne State University and the Motor City Casino and Hotel.
The iSURGITEC conference was initiated two years ago when four groups of leading surgeons and scientists met to discuss the application of advanced technologies in surgery, and WSU is this year's host. During the first two days, investigators will present their work and engage in discussion and collaboration. On the third day, there will be a summary report to inform attendees about the exciting developments at WSU and other institutions in our region. This is designed to be interactive so attendess can learn how advanced technologies in surgical practice might affect their institutions and patients.
Registration is free but required by Oct. 16th. Please visit www.astii.net or www.astii.org for online registration and the detailed agenda and conference locations. The conference is sponsored by Wayne State University, the Detroit Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Michigan and the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
