The Parade Company recently announced that 2013 America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Art Van Furniture will be starting at Woodward Avenue and Kirby Street this year, right in Midtown! Wayne State University's Office of Special Events has a special deal if you want to enjoy the parade from a prime location right on campus!

You are invited to be a part of The Warrior Zone! The zone will be located between Warren Avenue and the Simon Building (4809 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48201) home of University Press. The Warrior Zone will include; a warming tent, hot beverages, donuts and bagels, and restroom facilities. The area will also include some bleacher seating and enough room to bring your friends and family and take part in one of Detroit's great traditions. The Warrior Zone opens at 7:30 a.m. with the parade stepping off at 8:45 a.m.
Tickets are $10 per person. You can also purchase access to safe and secure parking for $6 per vehicle in Structure 6 which is located close to the event venue. Place your wristband and parking pass order at specialevents.wayne.edu/the-warrior-zone
