Willie Cole enjoys international acclaim for his conceptually complex installations that reconfigure discarded objects of consumer culture and infuse them with a new energy evocative of African spiritual traditions in a new global context. Cole offers a public lecture about his work in the Auditorium of the Wayne State University Welcome Center at the corner of Woodward Ave. and Warren Ave. on Wednesday, March 29, 7:00 p.m. The lecture is part of WSU's 8th annual African American Art Lecture Series,
