We live in a complex information society with constant bombardment of new information and urgent and important tasks. These compete with the incomplete ideas and tasks and that already occupy our mind. Based on the best-selling business and time-management book, Getting Things Done, this session will offer strategies to free your mind and minimize your stress and anxiety by getting what’s on your mind into trusted external memory sources. A number of helpful handouts will be provided.

Presenter:  Dr. Linda Roth, Director of Professional Development

Session objectives:

  • Understand the basic principles and tools of Getting Things Done
  • Begin the experience of “freeing your mind”
