Tarell Alvin McCraney's hit play

"In The Red and Brown Water"

heads to the Bonstelle!

Yes, you heard it here first! Opening in the beginning of February at the Bonstelle Theatre is one of Tarell Alvin McCraney's passionate works from his Brother/Sister Plays' In The Red and Brown Water. This Louisiana-based play tells the tempestuous life of Oya, a young teenage girl on her journey to womanhood.  She is challenged to make the wrenching decision to remain at home to comfort her terminally-ill mother or to chase her dreams of becoming a college track star.

Will she chase her dreams or will she be chased away by her fear?
