Featured speaker, Rodney Fort

“15 Sports Myths and Why They are Wrong.”

Rodney Fort is Professor of Sport Management at the University of Michigan and is recognized internationally as an authority on sports economics and business.  The title of his lecture follows his new book:  Rodney Fort and Jason Winfree, 15 Sports Myths and Why They Are Wrong (Stanford U Press, 2013).

A merit award, based on a competitive paper, will be given to an outstanding graduate student majoring in economics.
