Communicating well about ideas, processes, and results is as critical to the work of science as data collection and analysis.  The effective use of visual information is indispensable in scientific communication.  In this seminar, Associate Professor of Graphic Design in the Department of Art and Art History Judith Moldenhauer will discuss the "hierarchy of information" and the visual signaling that makes it work, using examples of applications of this "hierarchy" in scientific diagrams and tables.

This event is co-sponsored by the WSU Graduate School and the BEST Program.
