CME Live Conference Event - Saturday, June 7, 2014

This live, educational program will focus on recent advancements in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. This course will provide in-depth presentations examining a breadth of commonly encountered medical conditions with emphasis on prevention and new treatment alternatives. There will be a discussion of technological advances, new approaches to diagnostic methodology, and new treatment options in inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, motility disorders of the esophagus, and pancreatic disorders. This course will also include screening for colorectal cancer, which has entered a new era resulting in more specific and sensitive tests. Drug induced liver injury (DILI) is another important topic as it has been related to a significant increase in the number of patients hospitalized with jaundice. The current and future “revolutionary” therapies for chronic hepatitis C have generated a great deal of excitement and resulted in an all oral treatment regimen. This conference will afford all attendees a unique opportunity to learn about the most recent developments and innovations in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology.
