This is an event sponsored by the BEST Program, offered through the Graduate School, to assist doctoral students to explore career options outside of traditional academic settings. This is a daylong workshop that will address careers in business and industry for biomedical doctoral trainees and postdoctoral scientists. Presenters include WSU faculty, alumni, and scientists who will share their experiences in launching their careers in business.

The faculty facilitators for this workshop are Dr. Andrew Feig, Department of Chemistry and Dr.Tim Stemmler, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presenters include, Prof. William Volz, Wayne State, School of Business, Dr. Carol Holland, laboratory director, Progenity, Dr. Evelyn Jabri, lead strategist and founder E&A Innovation Group.
