The WSU Polish Culture Club and FLTC Film Nites invite you to a screening of the Polish film "Córki dansingu" (The Lure). The film, released in 2015 and directed by Agnieszka SmoczyƄska, is currently making a splash in US arthouses. 92 minutes, with English subtitles.

Robert Abele in “The Los Angeles Times” writes about the film (March 2, 2017): “You've never seen anything like the retro-disco-horror-musical-mermaid tale 'The Lure' — and it's in Polish!

(…) “The Lure” is a woozily entrancing mash-up, shimmying by itself in the corner of the horror-musical canon and sure to earn quizzically appreciative stares from genre enthusiasts.”

On Monday, March 27 at 5:30 PM in the French Room (470 Manoogian Hall).

The Polish Culture Club meeting will be held prior to the film screeing, at 4:30 PM in the Romanian Room (408 Manoogian).
