Wondering how other US institutions use rubrics for learning outcomes assessment? Learn about the use of rubrics designed by a cross-institutional group of faculty and assessment experts that can be adopted or adapted to your program.

Abstract:

The VALUE ((Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education) rubrics have emerged as a widely utilized foundation for direct assessment of student learning. This webinar will provide a brief overview of the VALUE rubrics approach, their development and rationale, while concentrating on how the rubrics are being used by institutions and consortia of campuses, and what results are emerging both within single institutions and nationwide. AALHE is very pleased to have Dr. Terrel Rhodes from AAC&U with us to talk about the VALUE rubrics and how they are being used across the country.
