The Wayne State University Athletic Department invites fans of all ages to Community Day on Saturday, April 15th for several events including a game the newly constructed Harwell Field.
The event will feature WSU baseball doubleheader as the Warriors face Northwood. First pitch of the day is at 12 p.m. with the second game to follow.
Community Day will also feature Men’s Tennis vs Lake Superior State at 10:00 am, and the Spring Football Game at 12:00 pm.
Admission to Community Day is free! Kids can run the bases at the conclusion of the second game. Fans can purchase merchandise items and concessions throughout the day. Complimentary popcorn and cotton candy will be available for fans during the games!
Seating is limited at the baseball stadium, so fans are encouraged to bring a comfortable chair to sit in.
The stadium is located on the Wayne State Athletic Campus, next to the Matthaei Complex (5101 John C. Lodge) at the intersection of Warren and the Lodge Service Drive. Free parking is available in the Matthaei Lot 50 off of Warren Ave.
