Presented by: John Dulmes, Executive Director, Michigan Chemistry Council

The Director of the Michigan Chemistry Council, John Dulmes serves as the lobbyist and representative for the state's chemical industry. He will discuss current issues around the regulation of the industry at the federal and state levels, including how things have (or haven't) changed under the new administration of Donald Trump. He will also explain why chemical companies supported increased EPA regulation of their products in a significant new environmental law, the update of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), that passed last year. Come talk with a lobbyist and hear what the business of chemistry is thinking about these days!

There is no admission charge, and free parking is available.
Feel free to come before the talk at 6:00 PM for a dutch-treat dinner at The Traffic Jam & Snug.
