We are recruiting 4-7 Adult Siblings who have a brother or sister with special needs. One of the best ways to learn about sibling issues is to listen to the “real experts.” The Adult Sibling Panel will be on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. During this workshop, Don Meyer will moderate a panel who will discuss life with siblings who have special needs. Along the way, panelists will offer suggestions to parents and providers.

If you would like to be on the Adult Sibling Panel, please register here:

Unique Concerns. Unique Opportunities.
This core workshop uses a lively, large-group discussion format to help participants learn about the concerns and opportunities frequently experienced by siblings of people with special needs. During this workshop, participants learn what researchers, clinicians and siblings themselves say about growing up with siblings who have special needs. Implications for parents and service providers will be discussed throughout the workshop.
