It will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in Green Auditorium located in Scott Hall on the medical school campus. The guest speaker will be C. The National Institutes of Health recently emphasized the critical issues of scientific premise, scientific rigor and the need for authentication of key biological and chemical resources. Indeed, NIH added a component to their grant proposal packages requiring applicants to address these key issues of concern to the scientific community. The National Science Foundation and other federal agencies share NIH's alarm for the inability of laboratories to reproduce peer-reviewed and published experimental findings. The seminar speaker will introduce this problem, scrutinize specific examples and discuss the implications for the scientific community. The seminar will be a highly interactive event...and a must-attend event!
