Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland in 2008. Participants present a compelling oration of their thesis and its significance in three minutes or less. The competition challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience.

The College of Education competition will be held in the Community Room, which is located on the third floor of the David Adamany Undergraduate Library, on January 24, 2018, at 5 p.m. The deadline to sign up is January 12.

Master's students completing a thesis or Ph.D. students in the College of Education who are enrolled in a course during the winter 2018 semester are encouraged to participate. Students in the Ed.D. program are not eligible to compete.
