As a part of the National Day of Healing from Racism 2018, participants will have an opportunity to hear from staff and faculty about their experiences with racism here at the university through a facilitated fishbowl discussion.   Participants will then be invited to continue the conversation over lunch. 

By sharing our experiences with the racism, participants will then discuss ways to heal and support those impacted by racism and continue to move towards creating an inclusive community here at Wayne State University.


  • 11:00 am to 12:15 pm: Fishbowl Discussion
  • 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm: Luncheon Discussion
