2018 marks an exciting milestone for Wayne State University as we commemorate our 150th anniversary in Detroit.

Join us for the launch of our yearlong Sesquicentennial Celebration, where we’ll reflect on 150 years of academic and research excellence — and look ahead to what we’ll be achieving in the next 150 years, and beyond.

Friday, Jan. 26
2 p.m.
Community Arts Auditorium
450 Reuther Mall

President M. Roy Wilson will help kick off the festivities, which will culminate in a showcase of WSU’s history through inspired student performances. We’ll also debut our commemorative video, celebrate the unveiling of “Wayne State University at 150” at the Walter P. Reuther Library and enjoy birthday cake.
