Abstract:
The Department of Mathematics will host a panel of representatives from industries that employ Ph.D. graduates with strong quantitative skills.  Participants will have a chance to learn about career options outside of academics.  Panelists' employers include Ford Motor Company, General Motors Corporation, Henry Ford Health System, and Detroit Labs (software development).

The panel is intended for Ph.D. students from all departments, but students at other levels are also welcome and will likely gain some insight into career choices.  Faculty from all departments are also encouraged to participate.

After the panel, there will be light refreshments and opportunities to meet the panelists in the Department of Mathematics.

Please RSVP to Professor Rohini Kumar at eu0589@wayne.edu if you plan to attend.
