We are pleased to announce that Professor
Gregory Margulis from Yale University will be the 2018 Owens Lecturer at Department of Mathematics, Wayne State University. A Fields medalist and Wolf Prize winner, Professor Margulis is a world-renowned mathematician whose research interests include Lei groups, dynamical systems, number theory, and combinatorics. 
 
The Lecture is scheduled at Bernath Auditorium, Undergraduate Library, 2:30 pm, April 18, 2018.
