This is a careers event sponsored by the Translational Neuroscience Program in the School of Medicine and the BEST [Broadening Experiences in Scientific Training] Program in the Graduate School.  Dr. Susick is an alumna of Wayne State, graduating with her doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences in 2009.  She participated in BEST’s pilot internship program in 2014 while a postdoctoral fellow at WSU.  Dr. Susick received several awards and fellowships, including an individual NRSA F32 from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, during her six years as a postdoc. She will discuss her career in research administration as an epidemiologist at Henry Ford Health Systems in clinical cancer research, strategies for job searching and professional branding/marketing, and the influence of the BEST Program on her career path.

Light refreshments will be served.
