The Mike Ilitch School of Business Department of Accounting presents the George R. Husband Distinguished Lecture, delivered by Mary E. Barth, the Joan E. Horngren Professor of Accounting at Stanford University' Graduate School of Business. Barth will speak on "The Future of Financial Reporting."

The George R. Husband Lecture is convened by the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business. Husband was an accounting educator and a leader in his field. His former students and admirers thought so highly of him that they endowed a professorship, scholarship, and annual Distinguished Lecture Series in his memory nearly 40 years after his untimely death in 1958.

The program is open to the public at no charge. RSVP online or by calling 313-577-4640.
