Withdrawal requests must be approved by the instructor.

A mark of WF (Withdraw-Fail), WP (Withdraw-Pass), or WN (Withdraw-Never attended) will appear on the student's academic record.

There is no tuition cancellation for withdrawn classes.

To withdraw from a class:

  • Log in to Academica < Student Resources < Registration < Course Withdrawal
  • A separate request must be submitted for each class
  • SMART check is required

To view important deadlines associated with specific classes, go to classschedule.wayne.edu, search for a class, and click on the Course Reference Number (CRN) for that class.

Having a hold will NOT prevent you from submitting a withdrawal requests. Students experiencing difficulties withdrawing must email registration@wayne.edu before 11:59 pm on the deadline day.
