You use Wikipedia every day, whether it's to settle that debate with your friend over dinner or to give you an overview of a topic that comes up in your studies. But how much do you know about the fifth most visited website in the world?
In this session, Wiki Education's LiAnna Davis will be on campus to explain how Wikipedia works — and how you can help contribute knowledge to the world through the Wikimedia platforms. Bring your burning questions about Wikipedia, and we'll give you answers!
This meeting offers a virtual option for graduate students in the WSU School of Information Sciences and is co-sponsored by the student chapters for ASIST, NDSA, and SAA.
