The Aesculapians Honors Society is excited to announce our first book drive to support Mercy Education Project, an organization that provides one-on-one tutoring, GED preparation, and college readiness programming to women and girls in Southwest Detroit. Mercy Education Project was selected as the Aesculapians 2018-2019 Charity of the Year because we strongly believe in their mission of providing education and literacy access to those in our community, and we aim to assist in their efforts by building a library for their organization.

Aesculapians is holding a book drive from December 4th through December 18th. We hope you will consider donating new books for readers between the ages of 6-18. There is a donation box in the Scott Hall cafeteria, Mort Harris Recreation Center, and Student Center to leave any new books for young readers.

Please visit our online wishlist to purchase books, which are available starting at $5. Any support you are able to contribute will provide the girls and women educational opportunities for a successful future.
