The Wayne State University School of Social Work Association of Black Social Workers student organization invites you to attend Elevate Their Voices, a Mental Health and Wellness in Communities of Color forum. This diversity-focused forum will bring together community leaders advocating for social justice, action and change. It seeks to bridge the gap between academic and living communities with a conversation on issues facing America and Metro Detroit.  Panel participants include Social Work Assistant Professor J. Lloyd Allen, Wayne State CAPS counselor Jennifer Bohanon, community leader and victims rights advocate Paula Callen, Community Chair of the NAACP youth and College division Toia Dennis and Mental Health Jain Diversion Coordinator for the Northeast Guidance Center. This event will be moderated by Diane Cartwright.

Light refreshments will be provided.
