Join us for the 5th annual Wayne State Pop Culture Conference, "Telling & Retelling Stories: (Re)imagining Popular Culture," which will be held Friday, March 1st through Sunday, March 3rd at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI). 

We will be featuring panelists from all over the United States, Canada, the UK, India, Germany, and Poland. We also welcome special guests: keynote speaker Matt Yockey (co-editor of Make Ours Marvel: Media Convergence and a Comics Universe), plenary speaker Terrence Wandtke (author of The Comics Scare Returns: The Contemporary Resurgence of Horror Comics), guest artist Philip Crawford (Stop!Cop!), and guest filmmaker Xavier Mendik (That's La Morte: Italian Cult Cinema and the Years of Lead).

This conference is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! No membership or registration fees required.
