The healthcare system as it exists now fails to properly care for LGBTQ people, interpersonally and institutionally. From my double perspective as a non-binary trans person and an insider to healthcare, I will name the problems and describe some in-progress solutions, ending in discussion of what an ideally informed and universally inclusive healthcare system might look like.   Speaker Bio: Leslie Boker (they/them): Leslie is a non-binary transgender person and a trained educator and speaker regarding non-binary healthcare. They have presented over 50 trainings and workshops on LGBTQ topics for various agencies and organizations. They will share their own experiences as a non-binary person and the data they have gathered from independent research on the non-binary community.
