The WSU Math Society is hosting an on-campus game night! April is Mathematics and Statistics Awareness month and we aim to host events that showcase math’s fun side. The WSU Math Society is a student organization open to all Wayne State University students - graduate and undergraduate – and across all majors who have an interest in mathematics, who want to have fun learning and applying it in unique ways, and who want to give back to the community. We’re involved in community service and outreach in the greater Detroit area, promotion of the WSU math department, as well as hosting and promoting mathematics and volunteering events for our members. The organization aims to do for its members what members hope to gain from it, including professional career advice, upper-level mathematics course help, and tutoring and mentoring opportunities in the greater Detroit area.
