Dr. John Hawks is a paleoanthropologist, popular anthropology blogger, and Professor of Anthropology at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is giving a free, open to the public talk on his work that takes him around the globe (Africa, Asia, and Europe), with his most recent fieldwork on the Rising Star Expedition - an open science project sponsored by the National Geographic Society which has recovered more than 1200 hominin specimens. Join us from 4-5pm in the Purdy-Kresge Auditorium on Friday, April 5th for a chance to hear from this notable scholar!
